About us, no its about ME, TaVangelia Wren. Owner/ Principal of TV Interiors.… Where to start? Let’s rewind my life 18 years. Yes, I’m that old. When I was just a young girl graduating from Vo-Tech High school in Las Vegas, Nevada. I wanted to be a lawyer for as long as I could remember. So I signed up for college, but after the first year at UNLV I thought( political science major). “I don’t want to do this,” so I dropped out and I spent the next few years trying to decide what I wanted to do. I knew I loved helping people and making others smile. So wherever I landed, I knew I wanted to bring happiness to other lives.
In 2005 I signed up for Interior Design school and have been in love with my industry ever since then. I began as a librarian assistant while in school. I remember the amazement I felt when learning that there were more than one place to buy furniture, something I was never exposed to growing up. Raised by a single mother and 3 other siblings, my life exposure was very limited.
We didn’t travel. I had no idea there’s more to life than what I saw growing up (the internet wasn’t popular then). I remember falling in love with my first designer’s library, I wanted more. As the years passed and I learned more and more about the interior design world. I noticed the lack of help for clients with smaller budgets. All the designers I worked with, were well off privileged designers that didn’t notice the average person needs for interior assistance . They were only interested in large budget projects, leaving a large gap for the average client. The everyday client.
That’s when TV Interiors was formed in 2015. (hint: TV stands for the capital letters in my first name. It’s a nickname given to me by friends in high school because my first name is so long.) And I began providing consultant services to a range of clients.
In September 2016 I gave birth to my first and only daughter. She was born in the middle of a big career changing project for TV Interiors. Making her my luck charm. She has been involved with every project since the, my vendors know and adore her. They ask for her whenever I show up without her and I never hear the end of it.
TV Interior is my legacy. I will leave it to my daughter when I pass. All my hard work to grow and develop my company will provide a great life for my daughter. Its the one thing all parents want to do for their children. Being a great mother and provider is my driving point and it shows in the work. And always will. TV Interiors is based on hard work, dedication and dream fulfillment.
I am a designer for the people. I cater to a wide variety of clients, some with unlimited salaries and some with smaller ones . Why, because I believed everyone deserves to love where live. Home is where the heart is. Home should be a place that you feel safe and most at peace. That’s what’s important to me as a designer. That is what my clients get from me, that’s like no other designer. I’m here to help bring your vision to life. Big or small home, Large or petite budget. I want to do what I can to help. It’s my niche, my legacy, my gift to the world. Beauty.
As a girl growing up, I would have never thought this would be my career. I love what I do, I love to bring smiles to my clients , I love to see my clients light up at a completed project.
But now I couldn’t imagine doing anything else.
