Excerpt: A new foundation for how schools should be designed — with thought, intention, and love. Here, color theory isn’t decoration; it’s a tool to help children focus, feel calm, and grow in an environment built for their success. Even within the constraints of a public-school district, every choice was made to put the kids first.

Excerpt: A landmark for the Black community on the Historic Westside — the first large-scale library built in an urban Black neighborhood, and a gathering place for school and youth programs for decades. I grew up dancing on its stage, so this one is personal. The redesign fills the space with color, pattern, and motifs influenced by Africa, reimagined for dance, music, and everything that gives the next generation hope.

Excerpt: The project that started it all. It began with a conversation in 2022 about why representation matters — why Black interior designers belong in the rebuilding of the Historic Westside. The first of its kind in the neighborhood, it’s designed to invite people in: a place tenants are proud to call home and excited to share with company. Confidence, built into a building.
Marble Manor: A New Beginning

Status: Under construction (7-year project)
Excerpt: The largest development I’m part of — 662 units plus commercial space, a daycare, and a market, replacing 1950s-era housing with low roofs and tight rooms. Brought on by the Housing Authority of Southern Nevada alongside architect KME, we’re now in Phase 2 of a transformation designed to elevate the area and stand proudly alongside the rest of the city.

Excerpt: One of the most meaningful projects of my life, and design from the soul in its purest form. After nearly 30 years in their home, a husband chose to redesign around his wife’s Alzheimer’s rather than move her out. We rebuilt the primary bath with custom seating, grab bars, and hand-held showers, and softened the whole house with finishes and colors chosen for calm. When you design from the soul, it shows.
